Apart from her association with FOX News, she was also a reporter for Bloomberg News. She died on 8th August 2022 after the news was announced by the original Fox News Cable Network.
Early Life
Uma Pemmaraju was born in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, India, on 31st March 1958. Later her family moved to Texas, United States, where she was brought up in San Antonio. She received her graduation from Trinity University in Texas. She was a student for a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Uma also went to study at American University to pursue a degree in international relations for one year as part of an exchange program with Trinity University.

Pemmaraju began her professional career in the line of media reporting in her home Texas at KENS-TV. Simultaneously, she worked for the San Antonio Express-News newspaper as a producer and reporter while pursuing her full-term educational course at Trinity University. Despite this, she also served as the editor of her college newspaper. She worked for KTVT-11 in Dallas in the position of news anchor and correspondent and then moved to WMAR-TV in Baltimore where she won an Emmy award for her reporting on the live news of a child.
Pemmaraju became part of the original Fox News Channel after the channel was launched in October 1996. She was hired as the host for many different shows on the news network and was responsible for the number of special episodes on the network.
