The parents came to reveal that Peyton always wanted to play in the college world series while growing up and practicing for baseball and there is a time now when he can actually play the game. Stovall’s father’s name is Matt Stovall and his mother’s name is Leslie Stovall. While attending his education at high school, he played football until his senior year and baseball for all four years. He earned the title of All-District 1-5A Most Valuable Player and was later signed to the University of Arkansas to play college baseball. Stovall was the top prospect for the 2021 MLB Draft but he went unselected on the very first day of the draft and later withdrew the name.

Peyton Stovall [baseball] went to Haughton High School in Haughton, La, and later became the best prospect and the best shortstop according to the ratings given by Prep Baseball Report. According to PBR, he was given the overall 99th ranking in the prospects and 18th best SS in the nation. On the other hand, he was given the title of top shortstop in Louisiana along with the No. 2 overall prospect by Perfect Game. he was ranked number 35 shortstop and overall 138th rank in the list of recruits in the nation.
After High School
Stovall shifted to Fayetteville creating a lot of hype for his fans and followers. With the selection in the MLB Draft 2021, he could bring the expectation of his parents and his fans to the next level but all he did on the very first day was to withdraw the name. That meant he could have an offer of the contract opening with a worth of $2 million, but he chose to have other options rather than going for MLB Draft. While in high school, Stovall earned the high prospect values among the various players in the state. Although he did not get the initial start of his career, he made two hits in the third game of the season while playing against Illinois State.
Although he definitely enjoyed a successful year at college also, he got a regular start with his games after having a lot of struggle. Late in the season, he got an injury in his finger making him appear for the second base in the second of the three-game series while standing against Ole Miss. Stovall had to miss the rest of the series because of his finger injury along with two other missed SEC series and finally returned to the field in the final series of the game while standing against Alabama.
