Jayda Coleman is an American personality who is currently pursuing her collegiate career and is committed to Oklahoma Sooners. She has represented herself on the behalf of the United States at the 2019 U-19 Women’s Softball World Cup and USA Softball International Cup.
Early Life
Jayda Coleman was born on 27th September 2001, making her around 21 years old as of 2022. She was brought up by her loving and caring parents and Coleman is said to be one of the three children born to her parents. Coleman’s parents are named Deana and Cedric Coleman while she shared her childhood with her two other siblings named Ashley Wilkerson and Jhanna Coleman who both are known to be involved in the same gaming career but the details are not confirmed. Both of her parents belong to the collegiate career in field games and this is the reason Jayde did not find it difficult to receive the practice. The Coleman family is the native of The Colony, Texas, where Jayde received her high school education at the Colony and later entered Oklahoma for further education.

High School Career
Jayda received her high school education from The Colony High School, where she earned the honor of six-time All-State honoree and three-time All-American. During the 2017 season, she made a hit of .653 with 12 home runs and 81 hits in 40 games. She made her team win the game and thereby entered the class 5A state championship. Following the season, she earned the title of MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year and received the honor of number 1 recruit in her class.
College Career
Jayda started hustling for her collegiate career in 2021 and eventually landed her decision to play for the Oklahoma Sooners. She has been honored with her Big 12 appearances where she came behind her teammate Tiare Jennings in runs scored and batting average. She has been ranked among the list of top 10 players nationally, where she comes with the per game (3rd), doubles (4th) on-base percentage (5th), and batting average (8th).
For the season 2021, during game three of the championship series, Jayda appeared for the 2021 Women’s College World Series, where she scored 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI and helped her team Sooners to win the game and became the national champions. Following her outstanding performance, she was given the honor of first-team All-Big 12, all-Big 12 Freshman team, and first-team All-American. Despite this, she has also earned the honor of being called top-three finalists for NFCA National Freshman of the Year.
During the year 2022, she entered the sophomore season and batted .429 with seven home runs, 37 RBIs, and a .590 on-base percentage and helped her team achieve the honor of 13 stolen bases. She ranked third in the NCAA where she scored a .599 on-base percentage and during the field, she had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with 32 putouts and three assists. During the conference play, she made the conference-best on-base percentage including 21 runs, four stolen bases, and .614 with 17 walks, two doubles, eight RBIs, and one home run. The following year, Jayda earned the honor of being called a first-team All-American.
International Career
Jayda Coleman appeared in the U-19 Women’s Softball World Cup, where she represented the United States and she was the only one of the two high-school athletes on the team. She posted .522 batting, averaging 12 hits, 6 runs, and 4 RBIs, and had a gold medal for the team. Despite this internal appearance, her team also appeared for USA Softball International Cup in 2019, where she batted .375 average and one home run, 5 RBIs, and 6 runs, and eventually won the bronze medal.

Personal Life
Although Jayda Coleman seems to be committed to her softball field, she has managed to maintain her romantic relationship with the only man in her life, Billy Bowman Jr. Billy is a football player and is also pursuing his collegiate career in different professions of the sports. He has developed himself into three sports athletes- football, basketball, and track & field. He has earned the honor of being called the Texas 5A D-I state championship. Back in 2020, he played all three phases of the game as a senior and helped Denton (Texas), Ryan, to hold the record of 15-0. Despite this, he has also earned the title of second-team all-district honors at WR as a freshman.
