Tiffany Smiley, who belongs to the Republican Party, is an American personality running for the U.S. Senate elections representing Washington for the primary elections. Early Life

Tiffany Smiley was born in 1983 and was brought up on the rural farms of Washington. She was just like other children who used to go to school, enjoy her days with her friends, dreaming about becoming a nurse one day to support the families of the communities. She used to be very athletic in her college days because she played soccer at Columbia Basin College. Tiffany received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Whitworth University in 2003.

She began her hustle for professional life in August 2005 when she got hired as a caregiver at Walter Reed Hospital, where she gave 8 years of her life from April 2005 to January 2014. From January 2014 to January 2015, she served as a triage nurse and worked with Northwest Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates Inc. She founded her self-funded company Tiffany Smiley in January 2016, to give strength to fight back to all those women who lost all their responsibilities because of a few protocols of the government and were left with nothing in hand.

Despite all her responsibilities and duties as a representative of the Senate in Washington, she is also the co-founder and President of Hope Unseen LLC, which she founded back in January 2010 and is still running. She is also working as a motivational speaker at Bream Speakers since May 2019.

Controversy

For using the logo of Seattle Seahawks for her election campaign, team management took legal action and filed a lawsuit. Her husband was seen wearing the jersey of Seattle Seahawks and without having an agreement for commercial promotions, Tiffany and her husband used their logo for promotion. Team management immediately sent them a cease and desist letter via email as below.

“Given that the Smiley for Washington campaign has no such agreement with the NFL or the Seahawks, we must ask that it immediately cease its unauthorized commercial use of Seahawks Trademarks. This includes, but is not limited to, (i) immediately removing (or blurring) Seahawks Trademarks from the ‘Game Day’ ad on all platforms (to include, but not limited to, television, YouTube, websites, social media, etc.) and (ii) refraining from further unauthorized commercial use of Seahawks Trademarks,”

Personal Life

Tiffany’s husband used to work in Army and he was the most-appreciated personality until he suffered an accident in 2005 while fulfilling his responsibilities for Washington and got himself wounded by a suicide bomber in Iraq. During the time, Tiffany’s husband Scotty went into a coma and permanently lost his eyes. On the one hand, Tiffany was facing her husband’s condition and on the other hand, she was told to sign the discharge papers and let Scotty go back home. She was also informed that he would no longer be able to pursue his job. But instead of signing any discharge paper, Tiffany fought back and went with all the protocols of the Army division. She tried her best so that her husband could get the best of the facilities from the government while still fighting for his dreams.

She fought a case against the federal government and won. Because of her efforts, today her husband Scotty is being regarded as America’s first blind active-duty Army officer. Despite this, he also pursued his education (MBA) at Duke University and was also described as the “American Hero” by Duke’s Legendary basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski. Tiffany Smiley is married to her high school sweetheart, Scotty Smiley, and had her dream of becoming a triage nurse to serve the communities. But after her husband faced the accident, she set her dreams aside and fought for the responsibilities and the position of her husband after being an army personality. Today, the couple is raising three boys- all entered their teenage stages.
