Sosie Bacon is a young and beautiful actress who is popularly known globally for playing the role of Skye Miller in the famous television series 13 Reasons Why. Her family was against Sosie being involved in her acting career but later she played the role of the niece of Chief Johnson in the series Loverboy along with her mother who played the role of Chief Johnson.

The beautiful actress Sosie, was born on March 15 in 1992. She was born in Los Angeles, California in the United States of America and is the daughter of her father Kevin Bacon, and her mother Kyra Sedgwick who also is an actress. She has a brother named Travis Bacon. Sosie Ruth Bacon is the granddaughter of Edmund Bacon, niece of Michael Bacon, and cousin of George Nozuka, Philip Nozuka, and Justin Nozuka. As for her education, Sosie attended the Riverdale Country school located in the Bronx after which she attended the Brown University. Later, she attended the Collaborative Arts Project 21 from where she graduated and majored in the music theatre company, and convinced her parents to allow her to become an actor.

Sosie’s acting career started when she was still young and debuted in the movie Loverboy where she played the role of Emilly which was directed by her father Kevin Bacon who decided to include her in the cast as he thought Sosie was cool enough. Later she took a break from her acting career and sand an acapella version of “Life on Mars” which was originally sung by David Bowie. Sosie then appeared in The Closer, which was directed by Duff and she played the role of Charlie. She then played her role in Major Crimes which was the spin-off of the series The Closer. She then joined the cast of Fiction in Photographs which was an off-broadway musical by Dan Mills and Randy Redd in 2012. Sosie was announced as a lead female cast in the Independent movie Off Season, which was released in 2014.

She then played her role in 13 Reasons Why after which she debuted for the HBO Family drama Here and Now in 2018. As for movies, she has also played the roles of Frances Funicello in Wishin’ and Hopin’, Maggie in Another Life, Lady in Lady Lonely in the Year 2014, as Poppy Lake in Ana Maria in Novela Land released in 2015, she also played the role of Stacey in the 2017 movie Story of a Girl and as Patricia Krenwinkel in Charlie Says and Audrey Jarvis in the 2019 movie The Last Summer.

For her television series career, she has played the role of Sosie in Basic Witches in 2014, As Rachel Murray in Scream, Summer Harris in Lost Boy, as Mimi Web Miller in the 2020 series Narcos: Mexico. She has also appeared as Carrie Layden in the mini-series Mare of East town which was released on April 18, 2021.
