Michelle Rivera was born on 12th December 1976 in San Truce, Puerto Rico. She was born in a family of mixed ethnicity as her mother was Dominican while her father was a Puerto Rican-Spaniard. She had always been interested in acting and started her career early on. Michelle is known to have attended a performing arts program while she was a middle school and learned various art forms along with academics. She is believed to have completed her high school graduation from a local school in Puerto Rico after which she went on to attend college with her cheerleading scholarship. She joined Long Island University to complete her college studies in Finance.

While at middle school she got a lot of exposure to dramatics at the national level. Late, during college, she was starred in the lead role in the tour of off-Broadway hit Yo Soy Latina and also got several other opportunities at the theatre. She started off in the entertainment industry with the small role of Cojo’s daughter in the 2003 film Red Passport. Later in 2010, she again appeared in a small role of Officer Robert’s in the series Meet the Browns. In the following years, she appeared in tv shows and short films like Encuentrate 2011, Nashville 2012, Sleepy Hollow 2013, The Realization 2013, Trouble in Plate 2014, and Tammy 2014.
Widespread Fame
In 2014, she worked in the short film Cost of Beauty in the role of Ana and was also the producer and location manager for the film. Other than this, she also produced several short films like Blurred lines, Dead Man’s Hand, and Encuentrate. In 2015, she was cast as Latin Fury in the show confessions of Angry wives and as Gawking Neighbor in the 2016 movie Triple 9. Some of her most praised and successful works include The Nice Guys 2016 where she worked as a medic, Blurred Lines as Attorney Doughlas, and The Resident as Respiratory therapist in 2020.
She has also worked as a finance professional in the Latin American Business line at Brown Brothers Harriman &Co and also served on the Board of Women in Film and Television Atlanta. Recently, she appeared in the role of Jodie in the 2021 film Tomorrow war along with Chris Pratt, Jk Simmons, and Yvonne Strahovski. The film was released in mid-2021 and had an official OTT release over the Amazon Prime platform.
