Lindsey Morgan is an American actress well known for her role on The CW’s The 100. Lindsey Marie Morgan was born on February 27, 1990, in Georgia, however grew up in Houston, Texas, United States. She was born to Kelly Morgan and Alicia Burciaga and belongs to half Mexican and half Irish ancestry. Lindsey has an older brother, a half-sister, and five step-siblings. Lindsey discovered her love of theatre at a young age. She starred in numerous high school productions such as Little Shop of Horrors and Footloose. Lindsey dropped out of college and moved to Los Angeles to continue her work as a full-time film and TV actress.

While pursuing Fine Arts at the University of Texas, she started booking commercials and print ads. After being noticed in various commercials, she was cast for guest roles on TV series such as My Generation and Friday Night Lights. Lindsey has appeared on various television series. In the series How I Met Your Mother, she played the role of Lauren in an episode titled The Drunk Train. She appeared as Tracy in an episode of the series Happy Endings titled Big White Lies. She also played a role in Supah Ninjas.
In 2013, Lindsey appeared in two episodes of The Flip Side. Lindsey acted in a comedic horror film called Detention alongside Josh Hutcherson and Dane Cook. She played the role of a mean cheerleader named Alexis. The film was directed by Joseph Kahn. She played the lead character, as a social media-obsessed Maria, in MTV’s original movies titled DISconnected, which was a part of their A Thin Line campaign. Both, the film and the campaign, were developed in order to empower young people to identify, respond to, and stop the spread of digital abuse in their lives.
Rise to stardom
Lindsey played a supporting role in the horror-comedy film Chastity Bites, alongside Allison Scagliotti and Francis Raisa. Lindsey was cast as the contract role of Kristina Davis on the American ABC Daytime soap opera General Hospital and received a nomination for Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series. After leaving General Hospital, she filmed a web series called Destroy the Alpha Gammas. Lindsey landed a recurring role in Season 1 on The CWs sci-fi drama series The 100. In season 2, her role was upgraded to series regular. Lindsey plays the role of mechanic Raven Reyes.
She was also a part of Edward Burns coming-of-age film Summertime. Lindsey has also appeared in the music video for Boyfriend, the promotional song of the series Big Time Rush. In the TV Movie Casa Vita, Lindsey filmed her first leading role as Ariana. Her character Ariana is a Mexican-American cook dreaming of opening her own fusion cuisine restaurant much to her father’s dismay. The movie starred Baby Daddy star, Jean-Luc Bilodeau. Again in the independent thriller titled Lasso, Lindsey played a lead role alongside Andrew Jacobs and Sean Patrick Flanery. Her character holds a huge amount of guilt for not keeping the senior citizens safe and takes on the duty of ensuring their safety throughout the film.
