Born on November 11, 1987, and reared in Clarkston, Washington, is Joel Dahmen. Joly is the mother of Joel Dahmen. She played basketball in high school. When Joel enrolled in college, he began his professional life. From 2010 until 2013, Dahmen participated in the PGA Tour Canada, however, he had little success. To obtain his Web.com Tour card for 2015, he did, however, win twice in 2014 and take first place in the Order of Merit. Late in 2014, he also participated in three PGA Tour Latinoamerica events, where he tied for second place in two of them. Dahmen finished in the top 10 in three of the 25 events he played on the Web.com Tour in 2015. He reached the Web.com Tour Finals but was unable to qualify for the PGA Tour.
In his first season back on the Web.com Tour in 2016, he played in 20 events, making 13 cuts, including two tied for third places. He placed 25th on the money list, earning $975, and received a PGA Tour card for 2017. Dahmen placed 176th in the FedEx Cup standings during the 2016–17 PGA Tour season, with a T9 as his best result. He recovered his PGA Tour card for the 2017–18 season by placing 24th in the Web.com Tour Finals. Dahmen lost to Max Homa by three shots in the 2019 Wells Fargo Championship. Homa earned his maiden PGA Tour victory. At the Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship in the Dominican Republic in March 2021, Dahmen claimed his first PGA Tour victory.

After learning via text from the PGA Tour that he would be teeing off at No. 10 at 9:56 a.m. alongside C.T. Pan and Kang, Dahmen was only able to send a scared emoji on Saturday evening.
