He was named to be part of the Perfect Game National Showcase for the year 2019 and had enlisted himself as the No.1 1B prospect and No. 4 1B prospect nationally.
He earned the honor of being named the second-ranked overall player in Colorado by PG and earned the honor of being recruited as the Top-250 overall. For the season 2018, he played in the Underclass All-American Games for the West Region. He earned the honor of being named the best overall prospect and was recruited to the Top 200 in the country. Despite all other honors and awards, he earned the name of Colorado’s Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year for the 2019 season.
Freshman Career 2021 at Arizona State
During his freshman year in 2021, he began with a total of 48 games including his first appearance for the NCAA Division I season. Moss gained national recognition and was named Pac 12 All-Academic Team along with another title of College Baseball Nation Freshman All-America Second Team. He made the record-making average batting with .305, 9 doubles, 21 runs, 6 home runs, and 29 RBIs. he logged with a .494 slugging percentage, .359 on-base percentage, and .853 OPS. He played in 28 Pac-12 games having 21 starts. Moss led his team Sun Devils to earn a batting average of .341 and went 31-for-91 in Pac-12 games, with one triple, 8 doubles, and 18 RBI in the league play.
Sophomore Season 2022 at Texas A&M University
Jack Moss began the season with all 49 games and played for Aggies the whole year while making the record of average batting score of .363 and went 74-for-204 along with 5 home runs, 39 RBI, and 6 stolen bases, a triple, 14 doubles, and 21 walks.
