Elizabeth Tea Pantaleoni was born on 25th February 1966 in New York City, United States to Emily Ann, a dietitian and nutritionist, and Anthony Pantaleoni, a corporate lawyer with the firm Fulbright & Jaworski. Her mother is a niece of actor Hank Patterson. Her paternal grandfather was of Italian, English, and Irish descent while her grandmother was an American silent film actress and humanitarian namely Helenka Adamowska Pantaleoni.

She was raised in Englewood, New Jersey, and New York and studied at two private schools, Brearley School and The Putney School in Vermont. She attended Sarah Lawrence College but unfortunately was unable to complete her degree.

The most authentic actress of history was passionate about being famous since her teenage years. As she has a strong acting background, it was quite easy for her to enter Hollywood. Though she never took the advantage of it and made her own struggles. In 1988, she passed the audition for one of the roles in the film, The Remake Charlie’s Angles. On 8th June 1991, the popular actress Tea tied knots with Joseph Tardio Jr., a television commercial producer at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. However, the marriage didn’t last too long. They got divorced in 1995. After two years, in 1997, she got married to David Duchovny on 13th May. Later, on 13th April 1999, the couple was blessed with an adorable baby girl namely Madelaine West Duchovny and on 15th June 2002, they became parents again by welcoming their son, Kyd Miller Duchovny. But the marriage got over in 2008 and they both got separated. The couple reconciled in 2009 but again got separated in 2011. Finally, in 2014, they agreed to a settlement and were divorced.
