Early Life
Brook Lynn, 23 years old, was born in a little Dutch village in Wilp in the Netherlands. From her early years music had played a significant part in her life, but she suffered from fear-based anxiety and didn’t know how to play it out loud. Very few people, even her own family, knew her talent; she sang only in her room for most of her childhood.
Her parents weren’t aware of her voice’s capabilities until she was about 16, though, as she finally decided to take music more seriously, Brook said. From then on, she began her professional singing lessons in Apeldoorn, which focused on her singing style and onstage presence.
This appreciation for music led her to the schooling of music teachers and joining the Podiumacademie in Almelo to play with musical instruments, learn how to write music, and work together with other singers such as music legends Lisa Arkel, Annelie van der Woude, and Celine Dijkstra. During these years Brook continually struggled with her anxiety and with her artistic voice and her own style, laying the groundwork for her eventual success on the international stage as an artist.
Career
Brook Lynn garnered an Internet following that supported her with cover songs and original music as she gradually climbed onto the national TV stage. She was emotionally involved, and her performances of popular music were appreciated by the audience.
This was her big break as she auditioned for America’s Got Talent, Season 21, in 2026. After a few moments of nervousness, Brook was able to channel her energy into a compelling and moving rendition of Billie Eilish’s “The Greatest” with the judges and audience applauding her remarkable rendition.
Brook Lynn was described by Howie Mandel as haunting, and he found her starting to belt out a song and was impressed. Her singing style and charisma on stage impressed Simon Cowell overnight, and she scored four consecutive ‘Yeses’ from all four of the judges on the judges’ panel, making her the next person to progress to the next stage of the competition.
Afterwards, Brook announced that her father had died a few years prior. When she was met with heartfelt encouragement, Simon Cowell’s reply was “Your dad would have been SO proud of you”. This was one of the most memorable moments this season, and the world’s debut for Brook Lynn, as they showcased emotion.
Besides working on TV, Brook is also recording music as well as working as an independent artist. With more exposure in the contemporary pop music scene, she now has more opportunities to perform live, write songs and pursue international collaborations.
Personal Life
Brook Lynn has never been known to speak publicly about her relationships in the past and hasn’t confirmed that she is in one with anyone in public yet. There has not been word yet of her dating, or she has said nothing about it.

Brook Lynn has been performing in the digital world, sharing music performances, behind-the-scenes footage and her updates and tidbits with her audience and has been building her audience over the years. She has managed to get herself about 218,000 followers on Instagram, where she posts her path, studio photos, acoustic concerts and more. She also saves her social media feed to be returned to when she has anxiety issues and posts messages of strength and self-development.
