Sky Katz discovered that she could rap when she was 5. To showcase her talent, Sky participated in the famous reality show America’s Got Talent – Season 11, which was released in 2016. As a participant in the show, she performed singles titled Fresh and Haters. Her rapping skills impressed the judges and helped her gain popularity. Sky received more than five million views overnight on her video of the song Fresh. Simon Cowell labeled her as the coolest 11-year-old in the world when she was on America’s Got Talent. Soon after, she was called to perform at various events. Sky has performed on MTV’s TRL, The Harry Connick Jr. Show, New York Knicks Halftime Show at Madison Square Garden, New York Fashion Week’s Rookie USA Fashion Show, The Winter Film Awards, McDonald’s Houston Children’s Festival, and many more.
She got the opportunity to showcase her acting skills when she was offered the role of Tess O’Malley on Disney’s Raven’s Home. Raven’s Home is a spin-off of the popular sitcom That’s So Raven. The show stars Raven Symoné. Sky’s character Tess is also a rapper on the show. In 2019, she released a song titled Like This which features artist Lil Tijay. The song was released on YouTube. Sky also made her debut as a director for the music video of her song Fall Back.
