Mountain View High School
While in high school, Nahiem Alleyne was a two-year letter winner and was trained under the head coach BJ Roy. he had a record of making an average of 17.2 points and hot 63 three-pointers while being a senior. He earned recognition as GHSA All-State and All-Region and the honor of being named among the top 20 players in Georgia. Before getting transferred to Mount View High School, he had his playing career at South Gwinnett (Snellville, Ga.) for two years. There, he was recognized as the AAU ball with the GA Stars.
Virginia Tech (2019 to 2022)
He began with 27 out of the 32 games for the season with an average of 8.8 points and 2.3 rebounds. While facing his first career start against Coppin State, he had the record of making 18 points, including four 3-pointers. He made the career-high 22 points with 5 rebounds while facing Chattanooga (11th December 2019). From 2020 to 2021, he began with 22 games and started with only 21 leaving the rest because of COVID-19. He averaged 11.1 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and shot during the season. From 2021 to 2022, he began with 36 games. He averaged 9.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists, helping the team to become the finalists in the final four participants in the ACC Tournament semifinals and championship game. Next, on 25th January 2022, he had a season-high 22 points against Notre Dame, along with double-figure scoring games.
University of Connecticut
Nahiem spent three years at Virginia Tech and was later transferred to the University of Connecticut, on behalf of which he is presenting himself at the NCAA Tournament 2023. He began with overall 90 games for the Hokies and had an average of 9.7 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.5 assists for a start with 84 games. With his presence on the team, the Hokies appeared for the ACC Championship and two NCAA Tournament appearances. He earned the recognition of ACC Men’s Basketball All-Academic Team three times at the University of Connecticut.
