Mario’s wife named Susan “Susi” Cahn comes from the background of a wealthy family with her father and mother having established several businesses. Even though Susi’s father ended up selling his company (Coach Inc.) back in 1985, the family continued to be a part of several other businesses and other ventures. Unlike Mario, Susi does not owe any interest in cooking but the family often enjoys traveling together. Susi is the helping hand of the non-profit organization called Mario Batali Foundation, helping children to establish educational backgrounds and develop with the care of their loved ones.
Back in 1994, Susi and Mario exchanged the rituals of marriage and set a beautiful marriage occasion in the Caribbean. Six months after their wedding, the couple had a reception where they invited their close friends only. Mario and Susi are the proud parents of two adult sons, who together appear to have their hands in many of the ventures and the authoring of cooking books. They have been named Leo and Benno who have developed a passion for cooking like their father, Mario. The duo has prepared a book called Batali Brothers cookbook.
The multiple sexual misconduct
Mario Batali had to face many sexual misconducts back in 2017 because of which he had to fight the media and many of his upcoming shows’ managers and directors. In 2017, many women came to talk about the sexual harassment by chef Mario Batali. They did so on the restaurant review site known as an eater. The women who appeared in front of the media talking about their sexual harassment were at some time working as an employee for Batali. One of those women claimed that Batali had raped her after she was drugged and given alcohol in the restaurant Babbo. However, the chef refused all these allegations and it appears like fans are expecting something else from the chef, as the chef ended up having further shows with collaborators.
