Kelly’s lead role came after a much-awaited time, in 2008, with the horror film Eden Lake where she played the role of Jenny. She also played an important role in the British television series Above Suspicion. Kelly came into the spotlight for her role as Mary Watson in Sherlock Holmes in 2009, and again in 2011 for Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.
In 2015, Kelly made her Broadway debut opposite Clive Owen and Eve Best in Harold Pinter’s play Old Times at the American Airlines Theatre.
