She rose to fame after dropping her single For Everybody (2017) and Ice Me Out (2018). Early Life
Kash Doll was born on 14th March 1992 in Detroit, Michigan, United States. She lost her father when she was just a year old and was brought up by her mother and stepfather. She grew up in a rough neighborhood of Detroit with her other six siblings. To support her family, Kash had to work at a young age. She began writing short stories and poetry as an escape from reality. Growing up was difficult for her and had struggled a lot. Kash was studying business management at Henry Ford College, but after a year had to drop out to support her family being the oldest sibling of them all. She began dancing in the adult entertainment industry where she also started to rap.

As Kash was growing up, she had to leave her studies and work to support her family. She began to work in the adult entertainment industry as a dancer. She also performed in clubs, schools, and charity events. Side by side she also started to write and rap. She used to upload her videos of rapping through social media and Instagram. In 2014, Kash Doll began her career by releasing a remix version of Tinashe’s 2 On, this gained her a lot of popularity. In the same year, she collaborated with Icewear Vezzo, Lil STL, and Ca$h Out. After that in early 2015, she released her first mixtape, K.R.E.A.M., and also signed with BMB records.
Soon after she released her mixtape Keisha Vs. Kash Doll which received good reviews. The rapper entered into a legal battle with BMB records which prohibited her from releasing any music. She later released Trapped in The Dollhouse, her third mixtape, and Kashin’ Out through the RMMR record label. In 2016, she even received an invite via Drake to perform at his Summer Sixteen tour in Detroit. Kash dropped Brat Mail and The Vault in 2018 and also signed with Republic Records, thereafter she released her single Ice Me Out as a part of the deal. Recently in 2019, she got featured on Iggy Azalea’s single Fuck It Up.

Kash has been involved with a lot of men. She dated Dex Osama for a period of time and gives him the credit for helping her launch her career as a rapper. They both broke up before Dex shot dead in 2015.
