Jamil Jaffer Biography

Jamil Jaffer, in full, Jamil N. Jaffer is an American personality who is serving as a member of the Advisory Board of IronNet Cybersecurity, a technology startup founded by Gen (ret.) Keith B. Alexander. Jamil is also an active member of the Advisory Board of Missouri Cobalt, the nation’s largest primary producer of cobalt. He holds more than 15 positions at different private or semi-private organizations and contributes to them as the legal authority.

Early Life

Jamil Jaffer was born on the 27th of June around the 1980s and he grew up in Los Angeles, California. He is a graduate student of the University of California, Los Angeles. He received his B.A. Political Science and Economics from September 1994 to June 1998. He attended USAF Air Command and Staff College, U.S. Naval War College (where he received his M.A.), and University of Chicago Law School (where he received his doctorate in law). He completed his education in college from September 1994 to June 2003.

Despite this, he is also working as a teacher giving classes on counterterrorism, intelligence, surveillance, cybersecurity, and other national security matters, and teaches several other summer courses in Padua, Italy with U.S. Supreme Court Justice Neil M. Gorsuch. In his entire career, Jamil Jaffer went through at least 30 different positions at different start-ups, companies, firms, or scientific institutes.

Jamil began his professional life with the position of research director for Randy Hoffman for Congress, based in the Greater Los Angeles Area from July 1998 to November 1998. He held a few positions for one year or even less or a little more at various other firms including policy aide for Congressman Bob Goodlatte, law clerk to Judge Edith H. Jones, Statewide election day coordinator, attorney at Washington based company named Kellogg, Huber, Hansen, Todd, Evans & Figel, counsel at U.S. Department of Justice, Law Clerk to Judge Neil M. Gorsuch. He worked as counsel and senior counsel in the U.S. Department of Justice, Associate Counsel to President George W.
