She also led the Utes in batting average (.391), runs (46), triples (5), and multi-hit games (23).
Haley Denning stole 12 consecutive bases before being thrown out on her second try in the first game of a March 24 doubleheader against Utah Valley and stole nine in a row before getting thrown out at Arizona on April 24. Denning began the season as the primary left fielder but was shifted to shortstop in midseason due to injuries that disrupted the lineup. She was excellent in the field wherever she played, including a career-high four hits against Oregon State on May 14.
