Elizabeth Benn is an American personality who is currently serving the position of Sr. Coordinator, Baseball Operations at Major League Baseball. She resides in New York, United States. She is currently in the news because Elizabeth Benn has recently been nominated for the position of director of Major League operations. If she would get this position which seems to be certain as of now, she would be the highest-ranked woman in baseball operations. The news has been confirmed by the New York Mets. However, Elizabeth is the second most notable woman being hired by the New York Mets. From May 2013 to August 2015, Elizabeth managed different positions in the writing field, including Book Editor with University of Toronto, Staff Member, Associate Sports Editor, and Sports Editor with The Varsity, and has also worked as a freelance writer. Again, for a short period of 4 months, she became the Ticket Seller for Pan Am Games after which she started getting administrative positions at different universities.

She has worked as an administrative assistant, research assistant, assistant coach, and adjunct lecturer. Currently, she is serving at Major League Baseball at the position of senior coordinator, baseball operations. Elizabeth has shown a great example of multi-disciplinary positions. She came from a long career path with a variety of positions hailing from sales support to freelance and finally at Major League Baseball.
