They released their first EP in January 2019 by the name of the label Against Giants, and their second EP was released in June of the following year. The name of the second EP was Rosetta.

Early Life
Dua Saleh was born on 3rd November 1994 in Kassala, Sudan and he is 28 years old. She shifted to the USA as a refugee with his family because of the Second Sudanese Civil War in the 1990s. They were only five years old when they moved with family to Eritrea, then to North Dakota, Maine, and Newark and New Jersey.
They finally settled in the Rondo neighborhood of Saint Paul, Minnesota. In Minnesota, they went to Saint Paul Central High School, where they created interest and awareness concerning their upbringing, attracting the community towards their family or childhood.
Dua Saleh Career
Dua began writing poetry at the age of four and had their first performance at an open mic in their senior high school. They started performing poetry at various competitions or around the Minneapolis–Saint Paul area while in school at Augsburg.
Their poems, like “Pins and Needles”, were recorded and have been shared on YouTube, where they gathered tens of thousands of views by 2017 and one hundred thousand by 2018. They have also performed as a queer personality at Intermedia Arts. Dua released the first single, called “Body Cast”, on 30th May 2020.
They signified the brutality being caused by the police on people or criminals. The money collected from the download of the song was further donated to the organization Black Vision Collective. The song featured the story of a girl in whose house the police entered illegally.
It was based on the viral video of Angela Whitehead from a 2019 audio clip. Dua Saleh is recently being televised in the third season of the Netflix show Sex Education, where he is performing the recurring role of the character Cal.

Dua Saleh has openly considered themselves gay since school time. They do not have any girlfriend/boyfriend, as discussed openly. After graduation from high school, they went to study at Augsburg University, where he had a double major in sociology and gender, women’s, and sexuality studies.
