Dominique McElligott is 36 years old because of her birth on 3rd May 1986 and was brought up in Dublin, Ireland. She began acting when she was merely a teenager and was still studying in her secondary school. From the time she was a kid, she used to get fascinated by the film industry, the acting gigs, and the actors. Dominique commenced her acting journey at the age of 15 in 2001 when she began with a low-budget Irish TV series called ‘On Home Ground’, which was her debut series where she worked for around 10 consecutive series and portrayed the role of Cora Collins. At that time, it was quite enriching to see the younger working hard for her career and since then she always tried her best to push herself in her acting career. After doing the debut series, McElligott resumed her education and had a break from the film industry.
