Dave Burd began with his first debut mixtape, “So Hard,” released in 2011. It took him nearly two years to complete the mixtape because he would spare his time for his day job with the previous company Goodby, Silverstein & Partners. Then in 2013, he released one song weekly for five consecutive months.
Soon after, in 2014, Burd had his live concert at TLA in Philadelphia on 19th February. He planned to have the two professionals together, including a rapper and the other as a comedian/actor/writer. He finished releasing his first album, Professional Rapper, on 31st July 2015, featuring various artists like Hannibal Buress, Brendon Urie (Panic! at the Disco), and RetroJace, Snoop Dogg, Fetty Wap, T-Pain, and Rich Homie Quan.
Dave Burd and Mystikal and Trinidad James also appeared in one of the favorite Funny or Die videos, “Watch Yo Self,” in 2016. On 19th April 2019, he released another famous track, a single called Earth, where he met and featured artists like Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande, and Shawn Mendes. All the artists have given voices to the animated personalities in the music video.
