Daniel Nguyen is an American personality and Palo Alto High School math teacher, who is maintaining his position on the show Jeopardy. He managed to retain the title of Jeopardy Champion for the second time on Thursday, 12th May 2022, with his total winnings of $18,000 far ahead of his competitors. He maintained first place throughout the game beating other competitors Charly Keucks and Matt Petroff on the challenging question about the Drake Passage. After achieving a place in the show and being ahead of other competitors, Daniel hosted a Jeopardy watch party during lunchtime on Thursday (12th May 2022) and called out all of his students who gathered for the support of their teacher and watched the first episode of his run.

Daniel Nguyen, who seems to be in 30 to 40s is still trying to receive studies in recent years apart from maintaining his long career as a math teacher. For school studies, he went to Monta Vista High School and finished his graduation. After that in 2003, he enrolled himself at the University of California, Los Angeles where he obtained a degree in BS statistics. From 2007 to 2008, he obtained another degree in MS Biostatistics from UCLA Fielding School of Health Public. Later, he went to obtain his other educational degree in MA Educational Leadership from Mills College and Ed.D Educational Leadership from Mills College, which is supposed to be completed in the year 2023.
