Connie Inge-Lise Nielsen popularly known as Connie Nielsen was born on 3rd July 1965 in Frederikshavn, Denmark, and grew up in the village of Elling. Her father Bent Nielsen was a bus driver and her mother Laila Matzigkeit was an insurance clerk, who also acted and wrote musical reviews. She grew up with a sibling sister Sos Nielsen and was raised as a member of the church of Latter-Dy Saints, a Mormon. She is a huge fan of Danish directors Lars Von Trier and Thomas Vinterberg.
