Chris Licht is an American personality and is working as a television newsman and producer by profession. Despite this, he has been working as the showrunner and executive producer of the famous show “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” including another position as CBS’s executive vice president of special programming. The famous executive producer and showrunner, Chris Licht was born in Newtown, Connecticut to his loving and caring parents named Susan Licht and Dr. Peter Licht. He received his graduation degree from S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in 1993. He is the holder of a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and political science. While being the executive producer, he focused on managing the issues which the host Stephen Colbert used to handle alone previously. After CNN president Jeff Zucker resigned from the position of president in the first week of February 2022, Licht was nominated as the successor of the position on 26th February 2022.
