Boston Scott Biography

Boston Scott is a quarterback playing for the Philadelphia Eagles according to his two-year rookie contract with them. He has also played for his high school team, University team Bulldogs, and the New Orleans Saints before the contract with the Eagles. He was drafted in the 6th round of the 2018 NFL draft by the saints. Apart from football, he is also a state champion in weightlifting.

Early Life

Boston Scott was born on the 27th of April, 1995 to Anthony and Shelly Scott during their residency in Zachary, Louisiana. Scott completed his high school studies at Zachary High School while playing football for the team and being the lead rusher which landed him some local and state honors. Apart from football he also aced weightlifting and stood as a state champion in high school days.

Boston Scott Career

He started his gaming career in gaming by playing for his high school team in Zachary. While improving his football skills he was also interested in weightlifting and won the title of state champion. He joined Louisiana Tech University for his college studies and also played for the university team Bulldogs for four seasons. During his senior year, he rushed 937 yards on 163 attempts and had 5.7 yards per attempt average in a regular season. During that time he was also a watchlist candidate for Wuerffel Trophy. He had played overall 37 games in his collegiate career and had 1840 rushing yards along with 14 rushing touchdowns.

NFL

In the 2018 NFL draft, the New Orleans saints noticed him and drafted him in the sixth round of the draft. Arunke contract was signed between them on the 10th of May 2018. On September 5th, 2018 he was waived off but was reassigned again to the practice squad. Later in 2018 on the tenth of December, he was signed off by Philadelphia Eagles. On 31st August 2019, he was waived off but was resigned to the practice squad the very next day. In the following month, he was promoted to an active roster and his first ever professional touchdown on a 4-yard run came in a 31-13 victory against the Bills on the 27th of October in 2019. Later he got an extended role in a 23-17 when besides New York Giants on the 9th of December.

During that game, he also had 10 carries for 59 years along with one touchdown and 6 receptions for 69 yards. In another match against the New York Giants, he makes 19 attempts rushing for 54 yards along with three touchdowns plus catching 4 passes for 84 yards during that 34-17 victory. Recently on 22nd October 2020, Scott made a game-winning TouchDown catch on an 18-yard pass in the victory of 22-21 against the Giants. His stats of the regular season for 2018 and 2019 state that he has played in overall 15 games with 245 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns along with 204 receiving yards. He played only three games in the 2018 and 2019 playoffs.
