Akshata Murthy is an India-born British personality, famously known as a British-based fashion designer. Her full name is Akshata Narayan Murthy who is now more famous as the wife of Rishi Sunak, who is now believed to be the next Prime Minister of the UK. Early Life
Akshata Murthy was born in April 1980 in Hubli, the city in the Indian state of Karnataka. She received her schooling and education from Baldwin Girls’ High School, Bangalore. Later, she went to California, where she studied economics and French at Claremont McKenna College. Her father’s name is N. R. Narayana Murthy, and her mother’s name is Sudha Murthy. Her father is a known Indian businessman, the founder of Infosys, and holds a 0.93% share in the company. Her mother is a famous Indian personality known for her professional line of being an educator, author, social worker, and philanthropist. Akshata’s mother is also a chairperson of the Infosys Foundation and is also holding a position as a member of the public health care initiatives of the Gates Foundation.

In 2007, Akshata Murty joined Tendris- a Dutch cleantech firm, as its marketing director, where she stretched her work for two years.
In 2013, Akshata Murty co-founded a capital fund company named Catamaran Ventures along with her husband Rishi Sunak and became the director of the self-funded company.
