Erich Bergen is an American actor, singer, and host who has gained fame for his roles in the 2014 musical drama film “Jersey Boys” as Bob Gaudio and Blake Moran in the show “Madam Secretary”. He is also famous for his appearance in the show “Gossip Girl” and is a well-known, hardworking and respected actor.
Early Life
Erich was born on 31st December 1985 in New York, the USA under the parenthood of David Bergen and Cindy Bergen. He belongs to the Ashkenazi Jewish ethnicity and grew up with his family in New York although no details are available about his siblings. He was highly interested in acting since he was young and his parents enrolled him in after-school theatre. Erich has not revealed much about his early life but it is known that he completed his high school education at Ruddleford high school in New York. He was always interested in acting and drama thus, he went to after school theatre program called the Children’s Aid Society where he was noticed by an agent who suggested he join Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts in Loch Sheldrake, New York. He studied and took acting and drama training there for seven years.

After graduating from Stagedoor Manor institute, he started his career in acting and secured his debut role in 1996 with an episode of “Dana Carvey Show”. Later in 2009, he was cast in the role of Paul Hoffman for a few episodes in the famous show “Gossip Girl”. He is also a singer and is famous for the rock genre. In 2010, he released his first-ever studio album named “The Vegas Sessions”.
As a host, he used to host a podcast series called Greenroom radio where he would interview Broadway actors. In 2012, he got the role of Paul in the television film “Joey Dakota” and the same year, he appeared in the show “Person of Interest” Bradley Petrosian for a few episodes, as Keith Flynn in “Franklin and Bash” and also appeared as a male nurse in “Children’s hospital”. The following year, he was cast in the movie “How sweet is it” as Ethan Trimble alongside Erika Christensen.

Erich has not shared much about his personal life and relationships but it is known that he is currently single and unmarried. He has never openly revealed his relationship with past girlfriends.
