Sinner started practicing skiing at the age of 3. He was ranked one of Italy’s top junior skiers from the age of 8 to 12.

Jannik never worked hard for trying and playing in junior matches, instead, he began playing on the ITF Men’s Circuit back in the early months of 2018. He appeared for various events and began receiving his wild cards for the ATP Challenger Tour events. The only ITF title that he received in the year was in doubles and after he finished the season, he was ranked at No. 551.
2019
Jannik earned the first ATP title in Bergamo in February 2019 at the age of 17 and 6 months. He became the first personality born in 2001 to appear in the Challenger final and became the youngest Italian to win the Challenger title in history.
2020
Earlier in the year, Sinner appeared for the second round of the 2020 Australian Open and had his first Grand Slam main draw match which he won over his opposition Max Purcell but lost later to Márton Fucsovics. He appeared as the wild card at the Rotterdam Open, where he had his first top 10 victories against the world No. 10 David Goffin. He became the youngest quarterfinalist at the French Open after the record was earlier held by Novak Djokovic in 2006 and became the first to appear in the quarterfinals on his debut after Rafael Nadal in 2005. During the tournament, he defeated Goffin again as well as the US Open runner-up and the world no. 7 Alexander Zverev before finally losing to Nadal.
2021
Jannik Sinner won his second ATP title at the Great Ocean Road Open, where he won over World No. 20 Karen Khachanov in the semifinals and thereby became the youngest to win back-to-back ATP titles since Rafael Nadal in 2005. Jannik made the record of 10 matches winning streak, which eventually came to an end in the first round of the 2021 Australian Open where he lost the game while standing against World No. 12 Denis Shapovalov in a tight 5-set match.
2022
In the year 2022, Sinner appeared for the Australian Open and reached the quarterfinals of a major for the second time. He became the 5th Italian man to reach the stage in Melbourne. But, in the quarterfinals, he lost the match to 4th seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets. He also appeared to have another record at the 2022 Wimbledon Championship, where he recorded his first win at the major over Stan Wawrinka. Then, he reached the third career grand slam quarterfinals after defeating other champions like Mikael Ymer, John Isner, and Carlos Alcaraz.
