Van Lathan is an American personality and a former host of TMZ Live. during the time of hosting the show, she got involved in an argument with the rapper Kanye West on the topic of American slavery back in 2018. Lathan, who is now 42 years old, has remained the host of the weekly podcast called The Red Pill, from 2018 through 2019. In April 2020, he hosted the podcast network called The Ringer and two other podcasts The Wire: Way Down in the Hole with Jemelle Hill and Higher Learning with Rachel Lindsay. Despite being the famous host, he is also an executive producer of the Oscar-winning short film called Two Distant Strangers (2020).

Van Lathan was born on 16th April 1980 and brought up along with his older brother Ebony Rage Lathan by his loving and caring parents named Terry and Christal Ellis. Lathan had also developed himself into the position of executive producer of the Oscar-winning short film called Two Distant Strangers, which is based on the violence against a black man called Carter and the racial culture.

It was a 32-minute short film that was released back on 20th November 2020 and streamed online on Netflix on 9th April 2021. Van Lathan has not revealed much about the insights of his life, stating that he is engaged to someone named Khalika. He is living a happy and peaceful life in Los Angeles along with another member of the family, a dog named Boseman.
