Stetson Fleming Bennett IV is a quarterback for the Georgia Bulldogs in the National Football League. There is absolutely no doubt that he is among those players for whom scouts of various professional teams are keeping their eyes. Early Life 

Stetson was born on October 28th, 1998 in Blackshear, Georgia. His parents are Denise and Stetson Bennet and his father, Stetson Bennett III, is the owner of three pharmacies within a 30-mile radius and recognizes the importance of pursuing a dream. Stetson went to Georgia College (2017), Jones County Junior College (2018), Georgia (2019–present) and for High school, he went to Pierce County High School. Bennett was a two-star quarterback coming out of high school and played quarterback for Pierce County High School.

Stetson Bennett Career

Bennett spent his rookie year at Georgia as a walk-on. Jake Fromm, a fellow freshman, led Georgia to the national championship game. Bennett did not take a single snap during the entire season. Justin Fields, a 5-star high school quarterback, committed to Georgia in 2018. Bennett made the decision to attend Jones County Junior College. Stetson played in 12 games after his move, throwing for 16 touchdowns and 1,840 yards. He accessed the transfer portal for the second time after his lone season at Jones County.

Prior to his transfer, Stetson was a three-star recruit. He was on his way to Louisiana, but he ended up returning to Georgia. After Fields transferred to Ohio State, the Bulldogs needed a backup quarterback. Stetson was granted a scholarship by Georgia. Stetson would accept and take over as Georgia’s backup quarterback. Bennett would finish the season with two touchdowns and one interception as Jake Fromm’s backup. Stetson also scored a touchdown on the ground. When Jake Fromm went down with an injury in the SEC Championship Game, he stepped in.

Rise to Fame

Bennett started the season as D’Wan Mathis’ backup quarterback heading into his junior season. After Jamie Newman, the expected starter opted out of the season, Mathis was designated the starter. After Mathis’ terrible performance, Bennett was named the starter. JT Daniels, a USC transfer, took over as the starter a few months later. Bennett started the season as JT Daniels’ backup. After JT Daniels went down with an oblique injury, he would make his first appearance and start of the 2021 season against UAB. With five touchdowns in the game, Stetson tied the record for most touchdowns by a UGA quarterback in a game.

  1. HECK NO, DREW BREES was is a similar size and I predict he WILL BE A SUPER STAT IN THE NFL. THE Cardinals should grab him, to back up Kyler and begin the season, and KEEP HIM PLAYING IF he wins with Kyler as back up. THe guy is Lights out. WHomever gets him gets a WINNER.
