Rachel led the Boilermakers in both scorings and hitting as a freshman, with 48 runs and 67 hits, and she established a Purdue program single-season record with 41 walks. She was second on the team in hitting average (.354) and at-bats (189), and she had 19 games with multiple hits, including three games with three or more hits.
Against South Alabama on March 1 and Savannah State on March 2, she stole two bases each time, and against Savannah State on March 3, she scored a season-high three runs. In the final game of her rookie year, May 18 against Iowa State, she went 2-for-3 with 2 runs scored and her first career home run.
As a junior, Rachel had a breakout season that culminated in a Purdue single-season program record and earned her first-team All-Big Ten and NFCA All-Region accolades. An impressive.479 batting average, good for first in the Big Ten, fifth in the NCAA, and fifth all-time in the Big Ten.

She finished with a conference record 68 hits against Big Ten opponents and an on-base percentage of.539. Both of these marks place her second all-time at Purdue. She collected two or more hits in nine games during a stretch where the Boilermakers played 17 games between April 17 and May 16.
Winning the Purdue career runs record with 149 in her final season at West Lafayette, she became the second Boilermaker in program history to be named an NFCA All-American. Rachel finished her career with the Boilermakers ranked second in batting average (.394) and doubles (48), third in walks (100) and assists (473), and fifth in slugging percentage (.542), and she led the Big Ten in batting average (.429) for the second year in a row.
She made first-team All-Big 12 as a senior in 2023 and was a top 25 finalist for USA Softball Player of the Year. For the third year in a row, she was named to the CSC Academic All-District team, and from February 10th to April 29th, she reached base safely in 49 consecutive games, an OSU record.
