Oji Suzuka is a Japanese actor and model who has made appearances in several popular productions. He is a known actor for various films, movies, TV series, dramas, and Netflix series like Listen to the Universe (2019), The Violence Action (2022), and MIU404 (2020).
Early Life
Oji Suzuka was born on 11th January 2000 and was brought up in Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture. He and his family lived in Foster and shared his childhood with his older brother, who is nearly two years older than him. Under the influence of his older brother, he went to the same school called Okayama Prefectural Saidaiji High School, where he joined the same badminton club.
Oji Suzuka Career
In November 2016, Oji became a new member of the cast for the movie “Teacher! Can I fall in love with You?” during his second year of high school. During his participation, Hirose noticed Oji’s abilities, skills, and demeanor, and remarked that Oji had a distinct style that would eventually help him stand out in the industry.
In April 2018, after getting scouted by Hirose, he went to the university in Tokyo and joined hands with an entertainment agency to maintain his career in the industry. He started having fame and a name in the industry after appearing in his first movie and sought to have his stage name “Suzu.” In the fall of the same year (2018), he earned the honor of being titled the Grand Prix at the “33rd MEN’S NON-NO exclusive model audition”.
Oji Suzuka began an official acting career in 2019, and for that, he also won the role of a genius pianist in “Honeybee and Distant Thunder” in the third audition. It was known to be the official debut movie of Oji. For the various roles in various movies, he won numerous honors, including the 41st Yokohama Film Festival, the 43rd Japan Academy Prize, the 44th Hochi Film Award, the 74th Mainichi Film Contest, and the 93rd Kinema Junpo Best Ten.
In 2022, Oji Suzuka appeared in the serial drama “Silent” in the Thursday theater frame, which later became the social highlight of the year in Japan because of rewriting many distribution records. In the latter part of 2022, a Women’s Fashion Magazine named “ViVi” launched a well-known voting project titled “National Treasure Class Handsome Ranking,” where participants competed in various categories. He emerged victorious and won first place in the NEXT category.
