Francis was born on the 16th of April in 1994 to her parents while they were located in Rumson, New Jersey, USA. She has graduated from Mason Gross School of Arts at Rutgers University with a degree of bachelor’s of fine arts. In the same year, she also played ‘Nina’ in the play ‘Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike’. The following year she came up with one stage performance in ‘Peter and the Starcatcher’ as Molly and her debut short film named ‘Killing Machine’ in which she played Angela. She has worked in overall 5 short films including ‘Good Boys’, ‘ Chemistry of Mood’, and ‘Bless this Mess’, 5 television shows including her most famous role as Lin in ‘Younger’ in 2016, in Gotham as Emma Hsueh in 2017.

Her main role in Dash and Lily came on air recently in 2020 along with a web show ‘The Bicher’ as Lanie Bouchard and 6 stage performances including her award-winning performances on stage Connected, The Wolves, and Usual Girls. Her work in The Wolves earned her Distinguished Performance by an Ensemble and Outstanding Ensemble awards.
