Matt Lanter is an American actor and Model who is famously known for his role in the television show 90210, Vampire sucks, The Roommate, Pitch Perfect 3, Star-wars, etc.
Early Life
Matt was born on 1st April 1983 in Massillon, Ohio, USA. His father was an employee in an Insurance company and his mother was a school Secretary. He grew up with his elder sister Kara Lanter and his family moved to Atlanta when he was 8 years old. Matt started playing baseball and was highly interested in the sport in his early days. He has not provided any other information about his early life, family, or friends.

Matt started his career as a Model in the year 2004 when he participated in the show “Manhunt: The Search for America’s Most Gorgeous Male Model” but did not win the competition. He soon moved to Los Angeles, California, and started auditioning for various roles. He secured his first-ever role in the teen drama by Fox “Point Pleasant” as Nick. In 2005, he appeared in the show “Commander in chief” but the show soon went off-air. In 2008, he gave his voice to the character Anakin Skywalker in the animated series of “Star-wars: the clone wars”.
He also voiced the character for various video games for the franchise. Later in 2008, he took up the Lead role of Zach Conroy in “The cutting edge: chasing the dream”. The same year, he was cast in the lead role of Will in the comedy movie “Disaster Movie” with Kim Kardashian, Vanessa Minnillo, and Carmen Electra but the film was a failure at the box office and faced a lot of criticism.
Breakthrough
In 2009, he was cast in the major breakthrough role of his career when he portrayed the role of Liam court in The CW’s show 90210, a sequel to Beverly hills. In 2010, he was cast as Edward Sullen in the Twilight parody film “Vampire Sucks”. He also appeared in the 2011 film “The roommate” and also did voice acting for characters like Harry Osborn, Flash Thompson, and Venom in the series Ultimate Spider-man in 2012. He also gave his voice to Sled in “secret of the wings” in 2012.
In 2013, he appeared in the science-fiction drama series “star crossed”. He began playing the role of Wyll Logan in NBC’s series “Timeless” in 2016. Recently, he was announced to be cast as George Hutchence in the upcoming Netflix film “Jupiter’s Legacy”. He also returned to voice the character of Anakin in the seventh season of “Star-wars” animated series in 2020 airing on Disney+.
