After spending two years and nine months at Tydings & Rosenberg LLP, she had her transition from law associate to journalist and related internships. She joined WNBC News New York as an investigative unit intern and had a five-month-long internship based in New York.

Lydia gave two years of her life (October 2015 to December 2017) and worked as a reporter or weekend anchor for WBRC Fox 6. Later, she joined NY1 News (based in the Greater New York City Area) as an investigative reporter and worked from January 2018 to February 2021. Today, Lydia is working as a correspondent for Fox Business Network since February 2021.
