Lucas Hedges is a young and talented Oscar-nominated American actor who was seen working in films and shows such as The Grand Budapest Hotel, Kill the Messenger, The slap Anesthesia, and many more. Lucas was born on 12th December 1996 in Brooklyn Heights, New York, United States of America. His mother is an actress named Susan Bruce and his father works as a screenwriter and Director named Peter Hedges. He also has an older brother whose name is Simon and completed his schooling at Saint Ann’s School. He later went to the University of North Carolina School of the Arts where he completed a course in theatre. Lucas is also a graduate of the Cherubs Theatre Program at Northwestern University’s National High School Institute.

He made his film debut by appearing in his father’s film called Dan in Real life in 2007. Wes Anderson appreciated his work and quickly signed him for a 2012 film named the Moonrise Kingdom.  The same year he was seen in a film named Arthur Newman and made a debut in a TV show called The Corrections. In 2013 and 2014 he was seen in several films such as Labor Day, The Zero Theorem, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and Kill the Messenger. In 2015 he made an appearance on a Television show named The slap where he played the role of Ritchie Joanou and he was also seen in a film named Anesthesia.

After that in 2016, he was seen in Manchester by the Sea where he was playing the role of Patrick Chandler. In 2017 he was seen working at Lucille Lortel Theatre on the title Yen where he played the role of Hench. Apart from working in theatre, he appeared in films named Pigeonhearts, Lady Bird, and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri. In 2018 he was seen in films named Boy Erased, Ben is Black and Mid90s. He was seen at John Golden Theatre where he played the role of Daniel Reed in The Waverly Gallery. In 2019 and 2020 his work was seen in films and TV shows such as Honey Boy, Waves, French Exit, and Home Movie: The Princess Bride. He appeared in the movie Let Them all Talk which was delayed recently due to Corona Virus Pandemic.
