Kira Kosarin was born on October 7, 1997, in New Jersey, United States to a renowned music director, conductor, and record producer Danny Kosarin and actress Lauren Kosarin. Her parents were Broadway performers and therefore she developed her interest in the acting career. She once attended an “acting on camera” workshop which made her fall in love with television acting.
She studied at Pine Crest School in Florida. During her early years, she was very passionate about dance and studied ballet at Boca Ballet Theatre. She decided to pursue a career in the film industry, and in 2011 Kira shifted to Los Angeles, California.

She did the main role and rose to fame in the whole series from 2013 to 2018. In 2014, she herself made an appearance as a guest host in a reality series “AwesomenessTV”. In the same year, she did three other series namely “Knight Squad” in the episode: “Wish I May, Wish I Knight” as Kiki; “Double Dare” in the episode: “Thunderstruck vs. Girl Power” as a contestant; “All About The Washingtons” in the episode: “Yo! Bum Rush The Secret Show” as Malia.
In 2019, she characterized Aria in the series “Good Trouble” in the episode: “Parental Guidance Suggested”. She then starred in the role of Stacey Wasserman in the episode: “Welcome to the Wassermans” of an animated series “Welcome to the Wayne”. She portrayed Nadia as a recurring role in season 2 of a supernatural thriller series “Light as a Feather”.

She announced her first single “Spy” which was released on 16th March 2018. She then released her next single on January 11, 2019, named “Vinyl”. On April 10, 2019, she came up with her own album “Off Brand”. On November 8, 2019, with a collaboration with American DJ Carneyval, Kira released another single “Simple”. Recently, on July 15, 2020, she released “Songbird”, an extended play.
