A week later, he played at the Quicken Loans National where he lost against Billy Hurley III but the finish was good enough to regain entry to The championship as it was the part of Qualifying Series. In the Series, Jon was the runner-up in the RBC Canadian Open where he secured Special Temporary Member Status. He got points as a nonmember which made him earn the PGS Tour Card for 2017.
