Jiří Veselý is a Czech personality who is a tennis player by profession. With his efforts and hard work, he has reached a career-high ranking of number 35 in singles in April 2015. Jiří Veselý was born on 10th July 1993 and as of 2022, he is merely 29 years old. The young and aspiring personality was brought up in Pribram, Czech Republic where he spent his whole life growing up. Vesely is one of those few persons who started practicing athletics in childhood. He went professional in 2009 at the age of 16 and three years later he earned the honor of Australian Open Junior. Vesely stated his father was the major reason behind his success and for what he is known today. Although he has not given the identity of his parents, he resembles his parents as the idol behind his successful life story.

Vesely’s father was also a tennis player. He was the one who always tried to push him towards games and athletics. Vesely first began his professional life while participating in the Australian Open. he marked his journey with the start of the year 2011 when he participated in the boys’ single of the Australian Open and defeated Luke Saville in straight sets. Later, he won boys’ doubles at the Australian Open, where he partnered with Filip Horanský and defeated the pair of Ben Wagland and Andrew Whittington of Australia in the final. Jiří Veselý, who won the title of the 2013 French Open and became the youngest player with his achievement, reached number 1 in the combined world ranking in January 2011 and compiled the singles win/loss record of 125-45.

In February 2013, Vesely first made his Davis Cup debut for the Czech Republic and to date, he has won nine singles on the ITF Futures Circuit and three challengers. Vesely is the youngest player who is ranked in the top 100. After his achievement in the 2013 French Open, he reached the third round of a major for the first time at the 2014 Wimbledon Championships a month after the 2013 French Open.

In 2022, Vesely failed to defend his title in Pune, Maharashtra and this made him exit the ranking among the list of top 100 tennis players. Vesely, who ranked number 23 at the time, qualified for the 2022 Dubai Tennis Championship. He defeated Hady Habib and Alexei Popyrin and entered the championship. He reached the quarterfinals and recorded a career victory defeating number 1 tennis player Novak Djokovic in straight sets. With this achievement, he has reached the semifinals, which is his first victory since 2020 in Pune.

Jiří Veselý is a happily married man, who has a wife and two young children. Vesely married his long-time girlfriend Denisa Veselá and after the couple blessed with their first child in 2019. Today, the pair is the mum and dad of two youngsters named Sofinka and Patrik. The couple exchanged the rituals of marriage on 14th June 2019. They became an officially announced pair and married after having their 5th anniversary as a pair. It is said that the couple first met back in 2014 when they were both at the same restaurant.

They got engaged and maintained their relationship for three years till 2017.
