Indigo Star Carey or also known as Indi Star was born on December 12, 2006, in Boston, Massachusetts, United States, and later moved to Los Angeles. She is the sister of social media personality Azalea Carey. It is not known from where she went for schooling but she went to the Gray Studio drama school in Los Angeles to get trained in different styles of dance. She is also is trained in gymnastics and is a fitness enthusiast.

She is only 13 years of age currently and at this age, she has appeared in more than 8 movies and several television shows. Before fame, she used to regularly take dance classes.
