Guy Branum is a well-known American Gay comedian, and writer. He has also appeared on Conan, @Midnight, The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail, Road to Roast, and Debate Wars. In September 2022, he appeared on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” and was involved in a competitive fun game. In 2017, he gained popularity for performing at the inaugural Portland Queer Comedy Festival.

Early Life

Guy Branum was born on 12th November 1975, which makes him 47 years old. He was raised in Yuba City, California. Branum always tries to keep his family details away from media attention. He never discusses his parents or siblings in public.

He attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1994-1998, where he majored in “History and Political Science”. Later, he moved to Minnesota, where he attended the University of Minnesota Law School from 1998-2001. He was on the school’s Quiz Bowl team that placed third at CBI nationals in 1999. At this time, he publicly declared himself gay. After graduating, he returned to California.

He is also an Actor and producer in West Hollywood. He appeared in various short film projects in the United States, including Hard Sell (2012), Everyone’s Crazy But Us (2015), The Whizz (2016), and Floss (2020). Guy is the creator and host of truTV’s “Talk Show The Game Show” (2017-18). He has co-produced a Hulu original television series “The Mindy Project”. In the series, he has appeared as Nurse Guy in a few episodes.

He served as co-executive producer in the season one series “Connecting…”. This comedy series is regarding a group of friends who try to stay connected during a global pandemic. Later, he served as supervising producer in the HBO Max comedy series “The Other Two” for season 2 in 2021. In September 2022, he gained popularity for representing the character Henry in the comedy film “Bros”, directed by Nicholas Stoller.
