Evelyn McGee and her future husband, Stephen Colbert grew up in the same city and even in the same area, almost two blocks apart. They were not known to each other until 1990 and the two met each other for the first time at the “Spoleto Festival” and both instantly fell in love. At that time, Stephen Colbert was in a love relationship with another woman named Ann but he was not sure about having any commitments with her like marriage.
