Early Life
Erendira Ibarra was born on 25th September 1985 in Mexico City, Mexico to her parents Epigmenio Ibarra and Wanda Klor. Her father worked as a producer in the Spanish film industry. Erendira grew up in a Christian family along with her two siblings Natassja Ibarra and Camila Ibarra. She was raised in San Jose, California, and has spent most of her life in the various cities of the state. Erendira is believed to have completed her high school education at a local school in San Jose California and is also known to have trained the art studio in Casa Azul. Other than this, she has not shared any details about her qualifications and is also not known to have attended any college.

Following her father’s footsteps, Erindira decided to make her career in the entertainment industry. She started off as an actor in 2006 and got her first-ever role in the film Sexo, Amor y Otras perversions 2 as Mary. By 2008, she started getting many different roles in both films as well as in television. She was cast in the film Casi Divas as Sandra in 2008 and in the show Deseo Prohibito as Rebeca the same year.
Moreover, she also joined the cast of the show Capadocia as Sofia Lopez and appeared in the show for the next following years. She currently holds several films and TV shows to her credit including Entre Lineas 2009, Juegos Inocentes 2009, Double Tap 2011, Las Aparicio 2010, Beinbenida realidad 2011, Amor del bueno 2012, Las aparicio 2015, Infames 2012, Senorita Polvora 2015 and many others.
She started getting more recognition in the industry and got a significant role in the 2015 show Sense8 as Daniela Velazquez. Her performance in the show gained her a lot of praise and respect and she appeared in the show till 2018. Meanwhile, she was also cast in the Netflix original series Ingobernable in 2017 in the main role of Ana Vargas West. In the more recent years, she appeared in leading roles in the show Sitiados Mexico as Ines and in the Amazon Prime original show El Candidato as Isabel Alfaro. She also got the lead role of Lexy in the 2021 film The Matrix Resurrections. She became the first Latina actress to land a role in the sci-fi movie series of Lana Wachowski.
