Eleanor Elizabeth Bamber, the wonderful English actor, was born on 2nd February 1997. She is 23 years old and was conceived in Surrey, England. She has a brother, Lucas. After many such roles in television and films, she came back to musical theatre and was chosen as the lead role of the troublesome teenager Dinah Lord in High Society, which was directed by Maira Friedman. In November 2015, she was nominated for the Evening Standard Theatre Award for the Newcomer in a musical. In 2017, she played the role of Hilde in The Lady from the Sea, at the Donmar Warehouse, for which she won an award as well.
After the spectacular performances made in the theatre, she again stepped into acting for the televisions and films. Her first film debut was The Falling in the year 2014. She was also starred as Lydia Bennett, in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, starring Lily James, Douglas Booth, Sam Riley, and Matt Smith. She was selected on the British Film Institute and Screen Daily- Screen Stars of Tomorrow, in the year 2015. In 2016, she was cast in Nocturnal Animals, which also starred Amy Adams. It was directed by Tom Ford.
In the same year, she was honored in the feature film Extracurricular Activities. In 2017, she appeared in High Resolution which was based on the book Taipei by Tao Lin. She also was seen in the famous music video song “There’s Nothing Holding Me Back” sung by Shawn Mendes. In the year 2018, Elie was seen in The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. While in 2019, she played Cosette in the television series of BBC1 Les Miserables along with Dominic West and Olivia Colman.
