Edward Eddie Barbanell is an American actor and a comedian with down syndrome, who is best known for his role as Billy in the film “The Ringer” which was released in the year 2005. He has even played many minor roles along with playing the lead roles too. He is a talented actor who did not give up his career because of his disabilities but turned them into advantages and grew to this stage.

Edward was born on August 14, 1977, in St. Petersburg, Florida in the USA. Eddie has been quite secretive about his family as he never revealed the name of his parents nor his brothers or sisters. Eddie really loves his profession and loves to act. Edward in his childhood educated and graduated from the Coral Springs High School in the year of 1996. He majored his degree in acting and studied acting with Jay Lynch of the Opus Theatre, Selma Glass at the Coconut Creek Recreation Centre, and Allan Press of the Youth Theatre in Boca Raton located in Florida.

Eddie began his acting career in the year 2000 when he was seen mostly playing his roles in plays. He took a break from acting after the release of one of his most famous movies “The Ringer” where he played the role of “Billy.” Eddie made his return to the film industry in October 2010, when he played the minor role in the film Jackass 3D where he starred as himself alongside Johnny Knoxville, whom he met on the sets while filming “The Ringer.”
In 2011, Eddie had a guest role as Bradley in the Comedy Central series named Workaholics, which was released again with the new season 3 episode “Booger Nights” in 2013. He even played a part of “Testicles’ Cousin” in National Lampoon’s 301: The Legend of Awesomest Maximus. He appeared as a guest in the MTV show Ridiculousness which was aired on August 14, 2013.
In 2014, he appeared as a nursing home orderly in Dumb and Dumber To. Eddie is now 43 years old. He has not mentioned any of his upcoming movies or plays which would be released soon or he has also not talked about the ongoing shooting schedule if he is recently into it or not. But we can expect him to be seen on the screen or in the theatres.

Eddie was a part of the controversies that were trending during February and March of 2018, that a person with Down Syndrome will be playing a role in the Premiere play “Amy and the Orphans.” He played this role with the co-star’s Mark Blum, Diane Davis, Debra Monk, and many more. The show’s production ended on April 22, 2018.
