Chase Stokes is an American actor who is very well known for his role in Outer Banks as John B in 2020. He has also appeared in other films and television shows such as Lost Island, One of Us Is Lying, Tell Me Your Secrets, and a minor role in Stranger Things.
Early life
Chase Stokes was born in Annapolis Maryland on September 16, 1992, to Jeff Stokes and Jennifer Canning. He has a younger brother Kaden and a younger sister Kendall Nicole. His parents are now divorced. Stokes has a stepmother named Nicki Osterman Stokes. He moved to Florida from where he completed his schooling at Timber Creek High School in 2010 and graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2015 with an MBA degree. He also has an Association of Arts degree from Valencia College, Florida. Later he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his professional career.

Stokes has made a successful name for himself in the film and television industry. From his childhood was aspired to become an actor. In the initial stages of his career, he did modeling for agencies and brands like Abercrombie & Fitch. He also has graduated from college, completing his Masters’s in Business Administration. While studying in college he worked as a salesman for some time and even worked in an IT firm. Stokes was determined to make a career in the film and television industry. After graduating he auditioned for various films and television shows which finally landed him in the cast of Lost Island in 2015 which marked his debut in television series. The same year he played the role of Ethan Terri in Base and was also seen in the cast of Netflix series Stranger Things in 2016 where he played the role of Reed.
This role gave Stokes a step forward in his acting career. In 2018 he made his film debut with the drama film Between Waves where he played the role of Young Dale. Subsequently, he was seen in The First and The Beach House. In 2019 he made an appearance in One Od Us Lying and Tell Me Your Secrets. In 2020 he was praised and recognized for his role in Teen Drama, Outer Banks where he played the role of John B alongside Madelyn Cline who is his current girlfriend. Chase stole the limelight as he appeared in the second season on Netflix for Outer Banks. With this, he yet again rose to fame as his popularity skyrocketed and Stokes came on the list of trending celebs all over the USA.
