Cha Jun-hwan or Junhwan Cha is a South-Korean personality who plays figure skating by profession. He competes in men’s singles disciplines and emerged as a personality who has achieved huge popularity along with fan following still being 21 old. He has been the champion of 2022 Four Continents, a bronze medalist at the 2016-17 Junior Grand Prix Final, and a six-time champion of the South Korean National Championship in the years 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2021, and 2022. Despite all these, he has also been the winner of three bronze medals in the ISU Grand Prix series, a two-time winner of silver medals at the ISU Challenger Series, and a presenter of South Korea at the 2018 Winter Olympics.

Cha Jun-hwan was born on 21st October 2001 and as of 2022, he is merely 21 years old. He was brought up in Seoul and worked as a child actor, model, and ballet dancer. Junhwan Cha was very young when he first started preparing himself for ice skating professionally. He began skating at the age of seven while he was gone for a school excursion. Hwan has been a junior skater and has won the title while being at the fourth position of the 2011 South Korean Championship. Junhwan Cha took the honor of becoming a gold medalist at the Asian Trophy in 2012-13 and thereby repeated the honor of being a junior champion at the South Korean Championships.

This was the first time he experienced any game in the senior season at the national championships. Hwan entered the season by preparing himself for the Olympic test event for the 2021 Asian Open Games in Beijing. He gained the sixth position in the competition. Hwan also showed his interest in the 2022 Four Continents Championship in Tallinn. Later, he became the first South Korean personality to win the medal at Four Continents. Junhwan Cha also took part in the 2022 Winter Olympics in the men’s event. He skated a clean short program and came in fourth place in the segment with his best score of 99.51.
