Celia Munoz Career

Celia Munoz, a participant in America’s Got Talent, began her career as a classical musician. She began her career as a member of the La Espada de Madera theatrical company, where she performed in a number of local festivals, including the Almagro International Classical Theater Festival. Celia also played in the famed Corral de Comedias in the 17th century. She then went on to study lyrical soprano, where she worked on a range of traditional and contemporary opera projects all around the world. The Finnish Culture Foundation has also honored her.

Her skills as a soprano are combined with her abilities as a ventriloquist and singer. Celia has also gotten specific training from Gary Owen, the coach of Season 12 AGT winner Darci Lynne, as well as Javi Jiménez, the doll manipulation director of the Canal Plus program Los Guioles. The Spirit of Diva, which means manifesting it through her voice, Celia will make the spirit of a Diva, the great Maria Malibrán, and The Little Nightingale, in which she will bring the voice of a boy singer, known as the boy with the Golden Voice, who triumphed internationally in the 1950s/60s, are two of her notable performances.

AGT Audition

Celia stated she didn’t take much time for last-minute practice.” I kept practicing and performing concerts in Spain, and I wanted to come to ‘AGT’ because this is the place for this art form,” she said, adding that the possibility of winning gave her “goosebumps.” “Wow, that was quick,” Simon said. It takes most people around 20 years to learn how to accomplish this, but you did it in two.” Simon wished her “good luck,” and she proceeded to perform her act, which comprised turning through a radio while speaking or singing in various voices. Celia’s act was intended to demonstrate how a ventriloquist prepares for work, thus we witnessed her flossing and brushing her teeth, applying lip gloss, and sipping water.

The audience erupted, especially when Celia was interrupted by a phone call in which she spoke in both her own and the other person’s voice. “Yes, Sofia Vergara is here, she’s here,” Celia answered the fictitious caller, earning the Colombian-born judge a hearty laugh. At the completion of the act, all four panelists awarded her a standing ovation. When the audience had calmed down, Sofia said, “I don’t even know what to say, it was such a surprise.”. “That was completely unlike anything we’ve ever seen.” Sofia’s fellow judges agreed, with Heidi describing it as “refreshing,” Howie as the “most original thing,” and Simon as the “most inventive” ventriloquist act in all 17 seasons. With four “yes” votes, Celia easily advanced to the Judge Cuts round.
