Cam Anthony is a young American singer who vowed with his performances throughout The Voice Season 20. Probably he’s the most likely to win the show but other contestants are also prepared so tables can be turned anytime but for that, we have to wait for the Grand Finale of The Voice on Monday Night. Cam Anthony was born on August 19, 2001, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the USA. He is the son of his father Lamar Anthony and his mother Melissa Anthony. His parents recognized his talent since he was young and had always encouraged him for singing. He has 5 siblings, two brothers, and three sisters. As a student, Anthony attended the Tacony Academy Charter School which is located in Northeast Philadelphia. After that, he attended a high school but its name is not yet known. According to his age, he should be attending a college or university by now, and looking at his love and passion for music, he might be majoring in the field of music to build a career in the same.

Cam started his singing career by being a part of the church choir. His mother started uploading his singing videos and eventually, when he was 11, his video of singing a cover of Bruno Mars song went viral which changed his life. After that, he was invited to open for Patti La Belle and sing on “The Ellen De Generes Show.” After which, he was then invited to the White House by President Barack Obama and the first lady to perform at the annual Easter Egg Roll. At the age of 14, he signed a contract with Dr. Dre and spent his teenage recording and performing music.

The Voice

After his contract ended, he then appeared on the Voice in which he sang “Lay Me Down” by Sam Smith in the blind auditions which resulted in 3 chair turns. In the battle round, he sang the cover of Dan+ Shay and Justin Bieber’s original cover of “10000 hours” and as a result, he was sent to the knockout round in which he sang “Feeling Good” by Michael Buble which highly impressed the judges and is going to the next round. There are high expectations and probabilities of Cam winning the season of the show as he has been performing well consistently throughout, surprising and impressing the judges every time he performs.

As a matter of fact, recently in live playoffs he outshined every contestant and threw one of the best performances of the season. He sang “Take Me to Church” and just blown everyone’s mind along with judges as well. His mentor as well judge Blake Shelton praised him and said,

“You have delivered every time you stand on this stage. I’ve never had more people asking me about an artist on my team, in 20 seasons of doing this show. You could be the first superstar that we launch off this show.”

The Voice Season 20 Winner is Cam Anthony as two hours-long finale was some sort of a concert. More than dozen celebrities performed along with Top 5 contestants and duets as well. With this win, Blake Shelton became the highest winning coach in the show’s history with the eighth overall win of the singing marathon.
